I think the dirty rice go great with it. There are some varieties can, before packed in a box, or you can purchase your own. Here are just a recipe:

Dirty Rice Recipe
2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
1 / 4 pound (125 g) ground pork or beef
1 teaspoon of tea (5 ml) or cayenne pepper to taste
Salt and pepper to taste black pepper
1 teaspoon of tea (5 ml) pepper
1 teaspoon of tea (5 ml) dry mustard
1 / 2 c. Tea (2 ml) ground cumin
1 / 2 c. Tea (2 ml) dried thyme
1 / 2 c. Tea (2 ml) dried marjoram
1 teaspoon tablespoons (15 ml) chopped garlic
1 / 2 cup (250 ml chopped onion), green and / or peppers and celery
3 cups beef broth or chicken, fresh or canned
1 1 / 2 cup (375 ml), and white rice

Brown meat in vegetable oil in large skillet over high heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Stir in spices and onions, peppers and celery. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly, about 10 minutes. Add broth and mix all the scraping brown bits from bottomStove. Add rice and stir. Cover and reduce heat to low. Bake 15 minutes without lifting the lid. Remove from heat and mix rice with a fork. To hold tightly covered, if not immediately. Serves 4 to to 6.

I totally agree with transvestites, you do not need dirty rice, red beans n rice, because rice is the jambalaya. Jambalaya itself can be very satisfying, especially when a lot of meat. I am thinking of going to a salad and cornbread really good with him, but if you still cook the steak, chicken or pork to go with him. Bread pudding goes well with desserts.

Use the recipe for corn bread on the side of the box of cornmeal. I would add some diced red pepper for color and warmth.

I personally recommend spinach.

Can you believe that these proposals stupid rice and potatoes?

You do not want rice as a side dish, because there is rice in the jambalaya, I would say, a green salad and corn bread.

to try Black Eyed Peas and corn bread. Box Jiffy corn bread mix
costs 99 cents and is actually pretty decent, with a combination of cash.
